Chiara Dollorenzo originally trained in ballet and contemporary dance in Italy and continued her training in dance and choreography in London. Her career has taken the road of dancer, choreographer, university lecturer, dance teacher and community dance artist.

She graduated with her MA degree in Choreography at Middlesex University in 2004 where she worked as a lecturer and module leader in Choreography and Performance from 2006 to 2010.
She has choreographed works both in Italy and the UK, performed both in Italy and the UK and teaches Dynamic Release technique, Creative dance, Improvisation, Choreography, Pilates and Ballet.

She has been working with community dance since 2010 in Germany, Austria, Romania, South Africa, Portugal, Italy mainly with the choreographers Tamara McLorg and Janice Parker.
In 2013 she founded the association Barriere al vento , where she currently works merging artistic, social and educational value of the art of dance and promoting the art of contemporary and community dance in Southern Italy.
She collaborated with the faculty of Educational Sciences of Università del Salento, looking at the physical, conceptual, and creative aspects of the art of dance with its pedagogical principles.
